Wonderful, wonderful quote and I’ll come back to read it again whenever I start to get frustrated at online dating. Too many women’s profiles (esp on POF) are a list of demands that a man must be, what he must give her what he should do for her before she will consider even talking to im, without explaining what she will give in return and why being with her will be such a joy.
I feel sorry for women like that in that they see a partner as an ego boost rather than somebody to share life’s great journeys with.
I feel sorry for women like that as well. I really do believe a relationship is a partnership and both people need to put in the blood, sweat and tears to make it a successful relationship. It shouldn’t be one sided and just as long both people are living by the rules listed above its a recipe for a long lasting relationship 🙂
